LG NOVA, LG Electronics' (066570.KS) North America Innovation Center, is seeking new growth engines through partnerships with global startups at CES 2026, the world's largest consumer electronics and IT exhibition.
The center aims to secure innovative technologies in promising sectors including artificial intelligence, healthcare, and clean technology to create new business opportunities. LG NOVA plans to accelerate its NOVACorn initiative—a program designed to nurture promising startups into unicorn companies—starting with this exhibition.
LG Electronics announced on Monday (local time) that it has set up an LG NOVA exhibition booth at Eureka Park during CES 2026 in Las Vegas. The theme is "Leading with AI-First Innovation." LG NOVA has participated in CES for five consecutive years since 2022, focusing on expanding the startup ecosystem.
The exhibition features 11 startups excelling in AI, healthtech, and cleantech. OnVibe, unveiled for the first time this year, drew attention from visitors. OnVibe is an intelligent social media marketing platform that uses AI data analysis to provide one-stop support from content planning to production and performance measurement. It helps small businesses and creators maximize marketing efficiency at lower costs. The company is a promising venture that has undergone LG NOVA's incubation program and is preparing to launch as an independent entity.
Spin-out achievements are also materializing. Following the launch of healthcare company PrimeFocus Health in 2024, LG NOVA spun out energy management solution company PADO AI and mental health monitoring platform Relief AI last year. These results stem from the center's focus on creating AI-first business models with practical commercial applications beyond simple technology demonstrations.
"We will create opportunities to transform customers' lives with AI across various sectors including healthcare and energy through collaboration with global startups," said Lee Seok-woo, Vice President and Head of LG NOVA.
LG NOVA has presented a blueprint to discover promising startups and grow them into NOVACorns—unicorn companies originating from LG NOVA.
Launched in late 2020, LG NOVA has built an innovation ecosystem based in Silicon Valley. More than 2,000 startups worldwide apply to its annual global competition "Mission for the Future," demonstrating the program's competitiveness. The center is also pursuing a strategic partnership with the West Virginia state government to develop future businesses including healthcare over the next five years. LG NOVA is expanding its business scope through partner alliances with global companies and institutions including IBM, Hyundai Cradle, and Niantic Labs.
