SSG.com is rolling out a discount event for its membership subscribers.
SSG.com announced Tuesday that it will hold "Ssg7 Club Week," a week-long promotion concentrating benefits on members of its grocery membership "Ssg7 Club," running through the 13th. The event is a promotion focused on helping membership subscribers substantially reduce their grocery shopping costs.
SSG.com will first sell a total of about 100 products at member-exclusive special prices. A three-pack of CJ Spam Classic (200g) will be priced in the 9,000-won range, while laundry detergent and body wash will be offered on a 1+1 basis. Seasonal watermelon will be discounted by about 30% from the regular price, and 10kg of Koshihikari rice will be offered in the 30,000-won range. An additional 10% discount coupon will be applied to further boost the perceived discount.
A "Welcome 700 Deal" has also been prepared for new members. New subscribers can choose one of three popular items — a four-pack set of CJ Hetbahn, Themiksik dumplings, or Sugar Bubble dishwashing detergent — and purchase it for 700 won. The company will also run the "Ssg7 Lottery Event," providing up to 7,000 won in daily grocery subsidies during the event period. Members can participate once per day per ID, with prizes including Starbucks Americano coupons.
"Practical consumption, in which customers actively utilize membership benefits to purchase goods under more favorable conditions, is spreading," an SSG.com official said. "We will continue to expand the differentiated benefits unique to Ssg7 Club."
Meanwhile, Ssg7 Club, SSG's membership program, offers 7% of the payment amount in SSG Money rewards when purchasing Ssg Delivery (daytime, dawn, Traders) or Star Delivery products. Shinsegae Department Store Mall and Shinsegae Mall products come with discounts of up to 7%. Free return service is also provided for Shinsegae Department Store Mall products. Customers who subscribe to the OTT Tving-type plan can watch various content including movies, dramas, and professional baseball.
