The Korea National Arboretum and Garden Institute, under the Korea Forest Service, announced it will hold the special exhibition 'RE:BORN: The Forest Reborn' at the Baekdudaegan National Arboretum visitor center from March 10 to April 5.
The exhibition, originally held last year at Sejong National Arboretum in collaboration with the Korea Planteria Association, received enthusiastic responses from visitors and is now being presented as a touring exhibition at Baekdudaegan National Arboretum.
Featuring 30 artists from the Korea Planteria Association, the exhibition showcases approximately 70 works. The exhibition artistically expresses the disappearance and recovery of forests and nature's rebirth through various works including the 'Tiger Forest Paludarium,' terrariums, vivariums, and aquariums.
During the exhibition period, various events are planned, including the 'Terrarium Culture Festa' flea market selling garden-related products such as terrarium kits and companion plants, as well as 'Create Your Own Small Forest' hands-on terrarium-making experiences.
Kang Shin-gu, Director of Sejong National Arboretum, said, "It is meaningful to share garden culture with more people by presenting this exhibition, which received great response at Sejong National Arboretum, as a touring exhibition at Baekdudaegan National Arboretum." He added, "We will continue to promote the value of nature and the appeal of garden culture through various collaborative exhibitions."
