Chungbuk Development Corporation announced on April 1 that it held the "Chungbuk Regional Public Procurement Partnership Day" on March 31 together with the Chungbuk Regional Public Procurement Service, hosting consultation sessions aimed at expanding local businesses' participation in the public procurement market.
The event expanded opportunities for local businesses to participate in public purchasing in connection with Chungbuk Development Corporation's procurement plans. It also facilitated practical matching between public institutions in the province and public procurement companies, while providing procurement-related consultations and information exchanges.
"The corporation must serve as a partner that grows together with local businesses," Chungbuk Development Corporation President Kim Soon-gu said. "We expect this event to contribute to expanding market access for local businesses and revitalizing public purchasing."
Kim added, "We will continue to expand the public procurement foundation for regional economic revitalization through organic cooperation with related agencies including the Chungbuk Regional Public Procurement Service and local procurement firms."
