Daejeon O World, a theme park in central South Korea, is accelerating its transformation into a stay-oriented tourist destination by launching extended nighttime operations for the spring season.
O World said Sunday that it has been operating until 10 p.m. on weekends and public holidays since March 28, offering visitors a more relaxed viewing environment.
Flowerland, in particular, features atmospheric lighting and various photo zones that enhance the romantic ambiance of spring evenings.
The park has also strengthened its performance lineup. A variety of shows including a musical gala show, Miracle Magic Show and photo parade are being staged, while waltz and dance performances will be held at Flowerland in April, providing visitors with a rich array of entertainment.
Amusement rides, the zoo and safari are also operating during nighttime hours, offering a unique experience. Nighttime attractions and animal viewing in particular present a different atmosphere from daytime visits, giving visitors a memorable experience.
Starting April 18, fireworks displays are scheduled every Saturday, expected to further heighten the excitement of the nighttime operations.
"Through extended nighttime hours, we plan to present content that is differentiated from daytime offerings and provide visitors with new enjoyment," O World Director Lee Kwan-jong said. "We will continue to expand special content that can only be experienced at O World."
