Weekend Morning Temperatures Drop Below Zero Across Korea

Morning temperatures will drop below freezing nationwide on Saturday, December 14, bringing chilly weather across the country. Some inland areas will experience significant temperature swings of around 15 degrees Celsius between morning and afternoon.

The morning low is forecast at -4 to 4 degrees Celsius, with afternoon highs reaching 10 to 15 degrees Celsius. Large temperature differences between day and night are expected to continue for the time being, with morning temperatures in inland areas falling below zero.

Partly cloudy conditions are expected nationwide. Fine dust levels are forecast to remain in the "good" to "moderate" range across the country.

Fog with visibility below 1 kilometer is expected in some southern inland areas from early morning through mid-morning.

Sea wave heights are forecast at 0.5 to 3.0 meters in the East Sea coastal waters, 0.5 to 1.0 meters in the West Sea, and 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the South Sea. Offshore wave heights (within approximately 200 kilometers from the coastline) are expected to reach 1.0 to 3.5 meters in the East Sea, 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the West Sea, and 0.5 to 3.5 meters in the South Sea.
