CJ Foodville announced it will reduce supply prices for 17 bread and cake products at Tous Les Jours by an average of 8.2%, joining the government's efforts to stabilize consumer prices.
The price cuts will lower recommended retail prices by up to 1,100 won per item for 16 bread products, including popular items such as Dan-pan bread, Magu Magu Chestnut Bread, and Fresh Cream Bread. The Lotso Berry Good Day character cake will also be reduced by 10,000 won.
"Following the reduction in flour prices, CJ is extending price cuts across the value chain to bread products," a CJ Foodville spokesperson said. "This will deliver real savings to consumers and actively contribute to price stability."
