Gmarket announced on the 8th that it has partnered with fulfillment company Wekeep to expand the logistics network of its guaranteed delivery service "Star Delivery."
Gmarket has selected Wekeep as a new official fulfillment partner for Star Delivery. Wekeep, now partnered with Gmarket, is a fulfillment company that has advanced its rapid delivery response system through self-developed artificial intelligence (AI)-based solutions. The company operates major fulfillment centers in key locations including an Incheon hub center, as well as Icheon, Hwaseong, and Busan.
Gmarket's current official Star Delivery partners are CJ The Fulfillment and Pumgo. With Wekeep joining, the total number has increased to three. Going forward, Wekeep will participate as an official "Fulfillment Star Delivery" partner. Sellers using Wekeep can access the Star Delivery service through a simple application process while maintaining their existing logistics centers. In particular, they can expand their sales channels without separate inventory transfers or additional warehousing procedures.
Gmarket plans to provide guaranteed delivery service for more products to customers while offering sellers both logistics efficiency and sales expansion opportunities. A Gmarket official said, "With Wekeep's addition strengthening our Star Delivery infrastructure, sellers can apply the guaranteed delivery service without additional cost burdens, and customers will be able to enjoy a more reliable delivery experience."
