Lotte Mart announced on the 8th that it held the "K-Export Strategic Products Vietnam Entry Export Consultation" to help domestic small and medium-sized enterprises enter the Vietnamese market.
According to Lotte Mart, the export consultation held on the 5th of this month at Lotte Hotel World in Songpa-gu, Seoul, was attended by 20 domestic small and medium-sized food companies hoping to enter Vietnam and 48 distribution buyers from Vietnam and Korea. The export consultation was conducted as part of the SME overseas expansion project promoted by the Korea SME Distribution Center.
Lotte Mart explained that the export consultation "focused on supporting participating companies' products to lead to actual store placement and sales, beyond simple business meetings." The company added that Lotte Mart Vietnam merchandisers conducted product reviews considering local store placement and consulting on practical export measures.
Lotte Mart plans to provide close support after the event, utilizing its own distribution network to help participating companies' products stably enter and establish themselves in the Vietnamese market. The company also plans to continue developing effective support programs to help excellent domestic SMEs successfully establish themselves in overseas markets.
Kim Beom-chang, Head of HR Innovation Division at Lotte Mart & Super, said, "As a retail company that has built a successful business foundation in the Vietnamese market, we intend to utilize the local know-how and infrastructure we have accumulated as assets to help domestic companies expand overseas." He added, "We will spare no effort in providing continuous support so that this consultation can lead to actual store placement and sales for SMEs."
