The Constitutional Research Institute of the Constitutional Court of Korea announced on the 5th that it will hold the 12th Mock Constitutional Trial Competition at 10 a.m. on the 6th of this month in the Grand Courtroom of the Constitutional Court.

Eight teams that advanced to the finals from among 60 teams of law school students and graduate students majoring in law nationwide will compete in oral argument skills on the topic of "Blind Trust System for Stocks and Real Estate," divided into teams arguing for unconstitutionality and constitutionality. The grand prize-winning team will receive the Constitutional Court Chief Justice Award and prize money.
The Mock Constitutional Trial Competition has been held annually since 2015 to cultivate trial practice skills among prospective lawyers and to train legal professionals who contribute to the protection of citizens' fundamental rights.
