Samsung Electronics' Galaxy Z Tri-Fold, which continues its sellout streak, has been named the top product in the 'Best of CES 2026 Award.'
Samsung Electronics announced on January 12 that U.S. technology publication CNET selected the Galaxy Z Tri-Fold for both 'Best in Show' and 'Best Mobile Technology' awards.
CNET, an official CES partner, collaborates with the Consumer Technology Association (CTA) to evaluate products exhibited at CES 2026. More than 40 IT experts serve as judges, selecting 63 winners across 22 categories based on criteria including new concept presentation, solving key consumer problems, and setting performance and quality standards. From these, one 'Best in Show' product is chosen.
CNET praised the Galaxy Z Tri-Fold as a product that combines eye-catching design with practicality, describing it as a true hybrid device that fuses a full-size tablet and smartphone into a slim form factor. The publication also commended it as a culmination of Samsung Electronics' efforts to create a refined and versatile foldable phone that advances mobile technology.
In the 'Best TV or Home Cinema' category, Samsung Electronics' premium OLED TV lineup 'S95H' received the award. CNET noted that Samsung's OLED 'S95H' lineup stood out at CES, with brightness improved by 35 percent compared to the previous model. In the 'Best Home Audio' category, Samsung's 'Music Studio 5,' unveiled for the first time at CES 2026, won the award. The product was designed by French furniture designer Erwan Bouroullec, who also designed Samsung Electronics' lifestyle TV 'The Serif.'
Meanwhile, Samsung Electronics won a total of 27 CES Innovation Awards presented by the Consumer Technology Association, including 12 in video displays, four in home appliances, three in mobile, seven in semiconductors, and one for Harman.
