SK AX announced on the 2nd the launch of "XgenticWire NPO," an infrastructure operations service powered by agentic artificial intelligence (AI).
XgenticWire NPO was developed with a focus on improving companies' IT operations methods and cost structures. The service stands out for its ability to proactively detect and analyze potential issues and carry out remediation measures. When applied to manufacturing, XgenticWire NPO can detect real-time anomalies in equipment and production processes, minimizing potential risks. In the financial sector, it can enable uninterrupted electronic financial IT operations during transactions and authentication processes.
The core technology behind XgenticWire NPO is agentic AI. Agentic AI refers to an AI methodology that combines multiple special-purpose AI agents. XgenticWire NPO uses agentic AI to build an operations framework that prevents system failures before they occur. For example, a detection agent monitors logs and metrics generated across the AI infrastructure to identify anomalies. An analysis agent then examines various data to infer the root cause, while an impact agent expands the scope to surrounding systems to assess broader effects. A remediation agent then executes follow-up actions such as recovery.
Beyond agentic AI, XgenticWire NPO includes various features that support corporate AI adoption. Users can leverage the platform's "AI Studio" to easily design and operate their own agentic AI systems. Tools such as an MCP builder for creating Model Context Protocols (MCP) are provided. SK AX has broadened deployment options for XgenticWire NPO across diverse industries, offering on-premise installation, business process outsourcing (BPO), and integrated operations models.
XgenticWire NPO is also the first service under SK AX's new brand "XgenticWire." SK AX unveiled the XgenticWire brand name this month, emphasizing its agentic AI business. Along with the brand announcement, SK AX signaled its intention to unify its corporate AI transformation (AX) business under the XgenticWire brand.
"Because this is a structure where AI acts and responds first across overall corporate operations, it can minimize failure risks caused by human error," said Cha Ji-won, Chief AI Innovation Officer (CAIO) at SK AX. "This service can accelerate the pace of companies' AX implementation and transformation."
