Splunk, a Cisco subsidiary, announced plans to enhance enterprise security and operational efficiency through artificial intelligence agents.
Splunk held its "Splunk Go 2026 Seoul" event at The Westin Josun Seoul Parnas in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, on the 18th. Cory Minton, Splunk's Global Chief Technology Officer, said, "The AI era is at an inflection point where the rise of agentic apps converges with the explosion of machine data." He added, "The combination of Splunk and Cisco can protect and optimize the entire AI stack from infrastructure to decision-making."
Splunk emphasized that while Cisco Data Fabric transforms distributed raw data into AI-optimized assets, the Splunk platform serves as the engine that analyzes this data to generate tangible outcomes.
The company also introduced innovative technologies for achieving "digital resilience" at the event. Digital resilience refers to an organization's ability to rapidly normalize operations amid crises such as cyberattacks and system outages. Key offerings include Splunk AI Toolkit, which applies AI without moving data; Machine Data Lake, which supports large-scale predictive analytics; and AI Agent Monitoring, which monitors the performance and security of AI applications.
Won-sik Choi, Country Manager of Splunk Korea, said, "Korean enterprises currently face the challenge of balancing robust security with operational efficiency amid exponentially growing data." He added, "Business leaders must prioritize agentic security and observability to ensure their security operations and IT operations teams can keep pace with this rate of change."
The event also featured case studies from Korean companies adopting Splunk services. NH NongHyup Bank presented its achievements in AI-based security monitoring automation and advanced next-generation firewall operations. LG Electronics showcased how it secured stability in large-scale AI service operations by combining its physical AI solution "EVA" with Splunk's observability capabilities. Sung-bin Yoon, Team Leader at LG Electronics, said, "Splunk dashboards are playing the role of converting the heavy inference results from AI in physical field environments into intuitive and customized displays that users want."
