KT Unveils AI Platform That Plans Tasks and Assigns Agents at MWC 2026

KT is accelerating artificial intelligence transformation for enterprises and government agencies by expanding its customized AI deployment business targeting B2G and B2B markets.

The South Korean telecom giant unveiled its AX (AI Transformation) strategy at MWC 2026 in Barcelona, Spain, on Monday.

KT showcased operational results from its "Judicial Work Support AI Platform" deployed at the Supreme Court of Korea. The platform applies AI across judicial operations including similar case analysis, issue identification, new case review, and drafting support for verdicts and review reports. The system incorporates intelligent semantic search capabilities and personal information extraction and de-identification technology. KT is executing the project over 45 months in four phases.

The company is also expanding public sector AI adoption in education. In 2023, KT partnered with Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education to launch "Hi Learning," an AI-based teaching and learning platform. The system supports teachers in class design and operation while providing students with personalized learning recommendations through its "AI Diagnosis and Recommendation" feature based on diagnostic results.

"KT will continue leveraging various AI technologies including 'Mit:eum 2.0' to expand services tailored to actual public sector needs and become a trusted AX partner," said Yoo Yong-kyu, Head of Public Business Division at KT Enterprise.

KT also revealed the core architecture of "Agentic Fabric," its enterprise AX platform. The system moves beyond conventional generative AI functions like summarization and search assistance to enable direct execution and control of core business operations.

The company demonstrated "Agent Orchestration" technology at MWC 2026, drawing significant attention. The system analyzes user requests, develops execution plans, and distributes tasks to role-specific agents for collaborative processing.

KT also introduced "K-RAI Assessment," a tool that evaluates AI risk factors and promotes responsible operations.

"We focused on transforming AI from a simple tool into a controllable, executable business entity," KT said.
