Two graduates from Youngsan University's Department of Drone and Geospatial Information Engineering have received presidential awards from major academic societies, demonstrating outstanding academic achievement.
Lee Hyuk-jin and Bu Yu-seok, who graduated in February this year, were honored with the Korean Society of Civil Engineers President's Award and the Korean Society of Surveying, Geodesy, Photogrammetry and Cartography President's Award, respectively.
During their studies, the two graduates not only achieved excellent grades in their major coursework but also earned high recognition within the department for their passionate exploration and dedication to the drone and geospatial information fields.
The Korean Society of Civil Engineers is the nation's largest academic organization representing the civil engineering sector, contributing to technological advancement and academic promotion.
The Korean Society of Surveying, Geodesy, Photogrammetry and Cartography is an authoritative institution leading academic research and technological innovation in surveying and geospatial information.

The Department of Drone and Geospatial Information Engineering at Youngsan University operates a practice-oriented curriculum aimed at training specialists in drone operation and geospatial information analysis, producing excellent professionals each year.
