Global AI data cloud company Snowflake announced on the 19th that it has launched 'Project Snowwork,' an autonomous enterprise AI platform designed to enhance business users' work productivity, in a research preview version.
Project Snowwork enables employees across various departments to securely execute multi-step tasks simply by making requests through natural language conversational prompts. The platform autonomously executes end-to-end workflows ranging from simple tasks to complex processes, including creating board presentation forecast slides, churn risk identification spreadsheets, and retention strategy proposals, as well as identifying supply chain bottlenecks, helping generate tangible business outcomes. Built on governance-applied Snowflake data, it plans and autonomously executes multi-step workflows for complex tasks beyond simple question-and-answer responses.
Unlike general-purpose AI assistants, Project Snowwork is built on a single enterprise data source equipped with governance-applied metrics, shared business definitions, cross-cloud interoperability, and security and audit capabilities. It also includes various core features that support business users in performing data-driven work.
