Wrtn Technologies, an artificial intelligence service platform company, announced on the 26th that Rep. Lee Hae-min of the Rebuilding Korea Party visited the company's Gangnam office in Seoul to meet with young developers and product managers from AI startups.
Wrtn employees in their 20s and 30s working in various fields attended the meeting, including AI agents, character chatting, development automation tools, content services, marketing, and product planning.
Participants asked Rep. Lee about the unchanging role of product managers despite rapid technological advancement, key considerations in decision-making during development processes at AI companies, and career paths for IT professionals.
"I found the best answer in determining which direction to build services so that users receive the greatest benefit," Rep. Lee said. "A single service can change and influence the lives of one billion people."
He added: "This truth never changes—not just for IT, mobile, and AI services, but also for legislation and politics."
"The long journey from planning and building an IT service to delivering it to users is not much different from preparing a bill, going through the legislative process, and implementing it," Rep. Lee said. "The most important point to never forget in that process is the users and citizens who ultimately receive the service or legislation."
Rep. Lee is a former IT expert who worked at Google for nearly 20 years, overseeing core services including Google Maps, Google Desktop search strategy development, and vertical search planning.
