LG Energy Solution (373220.KS) held a shared growth partnership ceremony at its Ochang Energy Plant in North Chungcheong Province on Monday, the company said Tuesday.
About 20 people attended the ceremony, including Rep. Song Jae-bong of the Democratic Party of Korea, Lee Dong-chan, CEO of partner company Pol, and Kim Woo-sup, head of LG Energy Solution's Communication Center.
The ceremony was organized to ensure that LG Energy Solution and its partner companies comply with fair trade laws and enhance mutual competitiveness through active cooperation.
LG Energy Solution operates various win-win cooperation programs to support the sustainable growth of its partner companies, including financial support, technology protection support, recruitment support, and management stabilization support.
In the financial area, the company will continue to expand low-interest loan support, simplified credit guarantee issuance procedures, and the establishment of a transparent management system for payment information, enabling partner companies to respond stably to rapidly changing business environments. In the technology area, the company will introduce a technology data escrow system that safely stores core technologies and trade secrets at a trusted third-party institution to protect partner companies' technologies.
