LG Electronics (066570.KS) reported preliminary operating profit of 1.6736 trillion won ($1.2 billion) for the first quarter of this year, the company said in a regulatory filing Monday.
The figure marks the highest first-quarter operating profit in four years, representing a 33% increase from a year earlier.
