WiseMedi, an intravenous solution subsidiary of Yuhan Corporation, announced on the 23rd that it has obtained Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) certification from the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety for its second plant in Jincheon.
The second plant, located in Gwanghyewon-myeon, Jincheon-gun, North Chungcheong Province, houses a state-of-the-art sterile injectable (IV solution) production line. The certification demonstrates global-level manufacturing capabilities, having passed rigorous standards aligned with Pharmaceutical Inspection Co-operation Scheme (PIC/S) regulations recognized by the World Health Organization (WHO).
WiseMedi plans to leverage this certification to significantly expand production capacity and pursue aggressive sales strategies to increase market share both domestically and internationally. The company will optimize production of its flagship 3CB (3-Chamber-Bag) nutritional IV solutions and accelerate overseas market expansion through collaboration with Yuhan Corporation and Osang Healthcare.
Building on its stable production foundation, the company also plans to accelerate preparations for a KOSDAQ listing, targeting 2027-2028.
