Jeil Construction Co., Ltd. announced that the "Jeil Haiphong Integrated Logistics Center," built in the Nam Dinh Vu Economic Zone in Haiphong City, northern Vietnam, received completion approval from the Vietnamese government in November last year and is currently in operation. The Jeil Haiphong Integrated Logistics Center marks Jeil Construction's first overseas project, coming to fruition after approximately one year of construction.
The project initially received feasibility study support from the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries. It was successfully completed through joint equity investment with Korea Investment Real Asset Management Co., Ltd., which operates the Smart City (S) Fund under the PIS Fund (Phase 1)—a policy fund established by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport to support overseas investment and development projects.
The Jeil Haiphong Integrated Logistics Center began full operations in January after completing two months of trial operations. The facility comprises ambient and cold storage warehouses and features logistics capabilities that can accommodate not only industrial components such as automotive batteries but also heavy cargo including steel and metals.
Building on these strengths, the Jeil Haiphong Integrated Logistics Center recently signed an ambient warehouse lease agreement with VinFast, Vietnam's only electric vehicle manufacturer. Lease agreements for cold storage facilities are also under negotiation with multiple companies.
Buoyed by the success of the Haiphong project, Jeil Construction plans to accelerate additional overseas ventures. The company is scheduled to break ground in the first quarter of 2026 on a two-phase development project for an integrated logistics center and rental factory complex spanning approximately 10 hectares at the Amata Long Thanh Hi-Tech Industrial Park, located about 10 kilometers from the new Long Thanh International Airport in Dong Nai Province, southern Vietnam.
A Jeil Construction official said, "By establishing integrated logistics centers that will serve as hubs in key logistics regions in both southern and northern Vietnam, we have secured a foundation for future business expansion."
