'Nori Dogam' is the solo project of Kim Min-soo (stage name Kim Chun-chu), a member of the band Silica Gel. He has built a distinctive discography in the Hongdae indie scene with a sound that freely moves between cynicism, seriousness, and playfulness. His hallmark is metaphorically crafting the artist's own imagery and impressions through lyrics and sound. He is drawing wider attention with his debut full-length album 'TRUTHBUSTER,' which marks his declaration of a full-scale transition from a state of mere 'existence' to active pursuit.
TrackZero introduces Nori Dogam as "an artist elevating the maturity of the indie scene with a sharp musical identity and a process-oriented approach," highlighting his musical trajectory.

In a Melon Magazine interview released alongside the selection, Nori Dogam candidly shared the process behind his debut album and his philosophy on music. Since taking the Hello Rookie stage in 2019 and continuing his solo work, his greatest concern has been "making music that was painstakingly created maintain its vitality and keep moving for a long time."
"Releasing an album is just one step in a larger process. I tried to think beyond a single, fragmented act. So I set the album's D-Day by calculating backward from the tour schedule," Nori Dogam said in the interview, explaining the rationale behind organically designing his entire activities around an Asia tour spanning Seoul, Tokyo, Hong Kong, and Taipei. He also spoke about the album's sound, saying, "I wanted to capture a natural form of ensemble rather than mechanical reproduction. I recorded the beauty of people intertwining."
Melon TrackZero is also releasing a recommended playlist of Nori Dogam's music selected by expert committee members. The playlist includes tracks from the full-length album 'TRUTHBUSTER' as well as songs that offer a multidimensional listening experience of Nori Dogam's musical world.
Melon's 'TrackZero,' which has been spotlighted every Thursday on the mobile app's main screen since April 2022, announces an 'Artist of the Month' and 'Recommended New Tracks of the Month' each month. The 'Artist of the Month' is selected from artists who have released music in Korea, while 'TrackZero Recommended New Tracks' are chosen from songs released within the past three to four months.
