LG Electronics (066570.KS) said Sunday that eight of its products, including its heat pump systems, won excellence awards at Mostra Convegno Expocomfort (MCE) 2026, a major European HVAC exhibition. The MCE judging panel selects winners based on criteria including technological innovation, efficiency and system practicality.
LG Electronics said both the indoor and outdoor units of its air-source heat pump received high marks. An air-source heat pump is a heating and cooling system that uses air. The outdoor unit compresses refrigerant using heat from incoming air, releases the heat to warm water, and the heated water is then circulated through the indoor unit for space heating.
The company's commercial air conditioning system, LG Multi V i, and its air conditioner management system, LG ACP i, also received awards. LG Electronics' residential wall-mounted air conditioner, Artcool AI, was also highly rated.
