Lotte Department Store said Sunday it will hold a "Spring Sale" across all locations from March 27 through April 5, kicking off its spring shopping season.
The Spring Sale is the first regular seasonal sale of spring, featuring about 360 participating brands. Fashion items will be offered at discounts of up to 50%, while seasonal accessories such as hats and scarves along with jewelry will carry discounts of up to 30%. A wide range of lifestyle products including spring home décor and kitchenware will also be available. Customers who pay with Lotte Card during the event will receive Lotte gift certificates worth 5% of their purchases.
Alongside the sale, Lotte Department Store plans to draw spring outing visitors with diverse programs including "Gourmet Week," "Wine Week," a wedding fair and pop-up stores. During Lotte Gourmet Week, deli and bakery sections at nine stores near urban parks will offer "picnic sets" priced in the 10,000 to 20,000 won range. A "Wine Week" offering discounts of up to 80% on popular alcoholic beverages will also run simultaneously, targeting picnic demand.
Various pop-up stores adding a spring atmosphere are also planned. On the first floor of Lotte World Mall, the retailer's first-ever pop-up store celebrating the domestic launch of "Van Cleef & Arpels Parfums" will operate from March 26 through April 12. The pop-up will exclusively showcase the limited-edition high-end "Les Classiques Collection." Starting March 31, a pop-up store for men's business casual brand "Pottery" will run on the basement first floor through April 30.
A "Wedding Fair" for prospective newlyweds will also be held across all locations for the spring season. The event features a promotion allowing customers to earn double points through Lotte Department Store's wedding-specialized service "Wedding Mileage," and will run from April 3 through April 12 this year.
"We are intensively offering sale benefits for customers preparing for outings in line with the shortened spring season, while also strengthening benefits for prospective newlyweds through our spring Wedding Fair," said Park Sang-woo, head of marketing at Lotte Department Store. "We hope customers enjoy spring shopping and various events together at Lotte Department Store."
