Lee Sang-woo, CEO of INI, and Yoon Sang-yong, CEO of Jardin, have been named Proud Small Business Leaders for the first quarter of this year.
According to the Korea Federation of Small and Medium Business on the 23rd, the Proud Small Business Leader program recognizes outstanding entrepreneurs who have contributed to national industrial development. The award targets business leaders who have demonstrated exemplary management through operational efficiency and technology development.
INI is a security systems specialist. CEO Lee has led efforts to build safe urban environments and facility security networks through the development of intelligent security equipment and closed-circuit television (CCTV) systems. INI holds more than 20 patents and certifications in the field and is conducting research on next-generation surveillance systems that combine artificial intelligence (AI) with intrusion detection sensors.
Jardin is a leading domestic coffee and tea brand. CEO Yoon has focused on expanding the product lineup and quality control. The company has obtained International Food Safety System (FSSC) certification as well as Halal certification, enabling expansion into overseas markets including Indonesia. Yoon has also prioritized employee welfare, introducing remote work options and an early dismissal policy on the third Friday of each month to reduce staff workload.
