The Busan Metropolitan Government is launching a pilot program this month for regular operations of "Narae Bus," a city tour service exclusively for people with disabilities.
Previously operated primarily for group reservations, the service has been improved this year to accept individual applications, enhancing accessibility for users.
The bus will operate twice weekly on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, running two routes that circulate through East Busan and West Busan tourist destinations starting from Busan Station.
Busan residents with disabilities can apply through the official Narae Bus website for up to two people, including a caregiver.
Narae Bus is an exclusive tourism service for people with disabilities using specially equipped buses that accommodate wheelchairs. Busan introduced the service in 2023 as the first of its kind in the nation.
The city plans to incorporate improvements based on the first-half pilot operation to establish a stable regular service system.
