ISS Recommends Approval of BNK Chairman Bin's Reappointment

Global proxy advisory firm Institutional Shareholder Services (ISS) has recommended approval of BNK Financial Group (138930) Chairman Bin Dae-in's reappointment.

According to financial industry sources on the 13th, ISS advised shareholders to vote in favor of Chairman Bin's reappointment, finding no significant issues with his candidacy. ISS stated, "There are no problematic matters concerning Chairman Bin and the outside directors."

With ISS, which wields considerable influence over foreign investors, backing Chairman Bin's reappointment, his continued tenure is considered to have cleared a major hurdle. Foreign investors hold approximately 41.6% of BNK Financial's shares.
