KT launched "FlexLine Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA)," an enterprise internet service with zero-trust security, on Wednesday.
The new product applies zero-trust security to FlexLine. FlexLine is an enterprise internet service incorporating SD-WAN (software-defined wide area network) technology that analyzes corporate work environments and network usage to flexibly adjust bandwidth to optimal levels.
The newly launched service is available to new customers as well as existing customers as an add-on service. Users can directly connect to various domestic and international cloud providers with their desired capacity, and security features such as firewalls and VPNs are provided as standard.
Zero-trust is a security principle that verifies users and devices at each access point to control access privileges. Unlike conventional methods that continuously trust users once they have logged in, this approach uses AI-powered real-time detection to continuously verify the privileges of users, devices, and applications at every access attempt. Access is also controlled based on granular policies according to device security status.
"Starting with the launch of FlexLine ZTNA, we will continue to enhance our services beyond simply providing enterprise internet lines to become an integrated enterprise internet platform encompassing network, security, and cloud," KT said.
