LG CNS announced on the 12th that it signed a strategic partnership agreement with Palantir on the 11th (local time). The signing ceremony was attended by key executives from both companies, including LG CNS CEO Hyun Shin-kyun and Palantir CEO Alex Karp.
LG CNS will provide Palantir's enterprise platforms, including "Foundry" and "AIP," in customized forms optimized for its clients. Foundry is a service that integrates and refines data dispersed across an enterprise. AIP is a platform that combines generative artificial intelligence with the integrated data environment built through Foundry to support corporate decision-making.
LG CNS will establish a dedicated Palantir business unit called "FDE." The FDE organization will work closely with Palantir to execute high-value AI transformation (AX) projects across various industries, including manufacturing, energy, electronics, and logistics. The company plans to begin full-scale business expansion starting with LG Group, which is considering adopting the Palantir platform. LG CNS has already signed a contract with one LG Group affiliate to implement Foundry and AIP in quality management.
LG CNS has also completed internal validation of Foundry and AIP applications. By linking its own data platform with Foundry, the company secured capabilities to analyze business and operational data in real time and build risk prediction and decision-support systems using AIP. Based on the practical experience accumulated through internal deployment, the company plans to develop strategies to accelerate external business expansion.
"We will lead customers' AX innovation by combining LG CNS's industry expertise with Palantir's AI platform capabilities," said LG CNS CEO Hyun Shin-kyun.
