Korea Startup Forum announced it has partnered with global artificial intelligence research and development company Anthropic to launch the "Claude Credit Support Program" aimed at strengthening AI competitiveness among its member companies.
The program is part of KoSPo's core objectives for this year, specifically "enhancing membership value," and was established to provide tangible benefits to member companies. Eligible participants are KoSPo member companies, which will each receive $10,000 (approximately 14 million won) in credits for Anthropic's AI model Claude.
Anthropic is a global AI innovation company providing Claude, its large language model, to over 300,000 corporate customers worldwide. Claude is known for its strong contextual understanding and robust security features, making it particularly effective for enterprise data processing and coding workflow optimization.
With this Anthropic partnership as a starting point, KoSPo plans to establish a practical support system to strengthen member companies' AI technological competitiveness and facilitate global market expansion. Additionally, KoSPo intends to promote qualitative growth in the startup ecosystem through initiatives including popularizing startup culture via a 10th anniversary campaign, transitioning to a partnership-based continuous cooperation structure, and strengthening organizational execution capabilities.
The program is expected to go beyond simple credit provision, offering practical assistance for domestic startups to integrate AI into their services using Claude's application programming interface and reduce operational costs.
Kim Jae-won, Chairman of Korea Startup Forum, said, "The partnership with Anthropic will serve as a practical innovation foundation for member companies to immediately adopt global-level AI technology in their business operations." He added, "We will not let this be a one-time initiative, but will continue to enhance various programs that members can tangibly benefit from and advance global big tech cooperation models to definitively increase the value of KoSPo membership."
