Jang has retired from competitive golf, while Park Min-ji aims for 7 billion won and Park Ji-young targets 6 billion won.
Two players could join the exclusive "5 Billion Won Club" by winning the Rejuran Championship, the KLPGA 2026 season opener beginning March 12 at Amata Spring Country Club in Chonburi, Thailand. Park Hyun-kyung ranks fourth in career earnings at 4.82 billion won, while Lee Da-yeon sits fifth at 4.82 billion won. The tournament offers total prize money of 1.2 billion won, with the winner receiving 216 million won. Park needs 176 million won and Lee needs 183 million won to reach the milestone.
Even without winning the opener, both players are expected to surpass 5 billion won this year. Lee earned 799 million won last season, while Park collected 608 million won. The question is who reaches the milestone first and how quickly.
Several other players could also cross the 5 billion won threshold this year. Kim Su-ji ranks sixth at 4.67 billion won, Lee Jung-min seventh at 4.56 billion won, Lim Hee-jeong eighth at 4.26 billion won, Lee Ye-won ninth at 4.21 billion won, and Lee So-young tenth at 4.13 billion won. However, Lee Jung-min and Lee So-young struggled last season and would need strong comebacks to reach the milestone.
Tournament organizers created marquee groupings based on last year's prize money rankings. Hong Jung-min, last year's top earner, will play alongside runner-up Noh Seung-hee and third-place finisher Yoo Hyun-jo. Park Hyun-kyung is grouped with Jung Yun-ji and Park Ju-young, while Lee Da-yeon plays with Lee Ye-won and Park Bo-gyeom.
