KB Financial Group held a conference with newly appointed female deputy branch managers to strengthen women's leadership within the group.
KB Financial Group announced on March 8 that it held a "Group New Female Deputy Branch Managers Conference" on March 6 to promote diversity values within the organization through enhanced women's leadership. Chairman Yang Jong-hee and approximately 100 newly appointed female deputy branch managers attended the event.
The conference proceeded with two sessions: "Dialogue with Senior Leaders," where senior female executives shared their experiences and advice as women leaders by answering questions from new deputy branch managers, and "Dialogue with Group CEO," where Chairman Yang directly communicated with the new appointees to hear voices from the field.
The event was held ahead of International Women's Day on March 8, which symbolizes gender equality and the advancement of women's rights. Based on its diversity strategy "KB Diversity 2027," KB Group is building an inclusive organizational culture where female talent can fully demonstrate their potential and capabilities while receiving fair evaluation.
"Women leaders should take pride in being validated by their abilities and performance, not by gender," Chairman Yang said. "In the AI era, communication and empathy between people become even more important. I ask you to create new value in finance through such inclusive leadership."
A KB Financial official said, "We are practicing diversity and inclusion values across the group, including continuously expanding the base of women leaders."
