Korea Exchange (KRX) announced on the 6th that it held an awards ceremony to recognize outstanding investment banks that conducted IPO underwriting services in 2025.
Mirae Asset Securities was named the "2025 KRX Best Investment Bank" at the ceremony.
KB Securities was selected as the top IB for the KOSPI market, Samsung Securities for the KOSDAQ market, and IBK Investment & Securities for the KONEX market. IBK Investment & Securities has been named the top KONEX IB for three consecutive years.
KRX said it evaluated each investment bank based on comprehensive criteria including contribution to the securities market, quality of listed companies, and appropriateness of IB services.
Starting this year, KRX introduced a unified top IB award representing the entire securities market, departing from the previous practice of presenting separate awards by market segment.
"Thanks to the efforts of the IB industry last year, the competitiveness of Korea's capital market was strengthened," said KRX Chairman Chung Eun-bo.
