NC AI, the artificial intelligence subsidiary of NCSOFT (036570.KS), announced Thursday that it has signed a business agreement with the Korea Inno-Biz Association to strengthen AI utilization competitiveness among small and medium-sized enterprises.
The core of the agreement is to build an AI transformation (AX) model for SMEs by combining NC AI's industry-specific AI technology with the association's network of approximately 23,000 member companies.
The two sides plan to pursue initiatives including supporting the discovery and dissemination of AI adoption and utilization models, discussing customized AI solution reviews and implementation plans, and conducting joint campaigns such as AI and AX-related seminars.
NC AI supports SME AI transformation through a "Domain Ops" approach. Domain Ops is a strategy that incorporates industry-specific expertise and field information throughout AI models. The company also provides infrastructure that enables SMEs to operate high-performance AI with minimal resources.
Both parties will jointly pursue awareness improvement and capacity-building projects to enhance the practical utilization of AI technology. They plan to organize AI and AX-related seminars, briefings, and educational programs to support field-oriented, practical AI capability enhancement for SME executives and practitioners.
NC AI expressed expectations that this agreement will help reduce dependence on foreign general-purpose AI technology and lead to strengthened AI technology self-sufficiency and technological sovereignty optimized for the domestic industrial environment.
"We will lead SMEs to secure competitiveness through AX and leap into the global market," NC AI CEO Lee Yeon-su said.
"Through cooperation with NC AI, we will continue to collaborate so that AI can effectively take root in actual industrial sites, tailored to each company's industry, scale, and digital maturity," Korea Inno-Biz Association Chairman Jeong Gwang-cheon said.
