Gabia (079940.KQ), a Korean domain registration company, announced Wednesday that it has launched an "AI Domain Recommendation Service," becoming the first domestic domain registrar to incorporate generative artificial intelligence technology. The new service combines Gabia's data management expertise accumulated over 27 years with the latest AI technology.
The AI Domain Recommendation Service uses AI to contextually analyze keywords and business descriptions entered by users, automatically suggesting domain names that align with their brand identity. Moving beyond simple search-based result listings, the service proposes creative and intuitive brand names, significantly enhancing convenience for businesses in their early stages.
A key feature of the AI domain search function is that it displays only domains available for registration. Users can quickly secure domains without the hassle of manually checking availability one by one. The service also includes sophisticated filtering capabilities for customized results, allowing users to set detailed preferences including preferred top-level domains, budget range, and domain length. For example, searching for "gelato shop" instantly suggests industry-optimized domains such as "gelatotime.net" or "mygelato.co."
