Taekwang Group Names Kim Dae-hyun as Heungkuk Fire CEO, Kim Hyung-pyo to Lead Heungkuk Life

Taekwang Group announced Wednesday that it has designated Kim Dae-hyun, current CEO of Heungkuk Life Insurance, as the new CEO of Heungkuk Fire & Marine Insurance, while Kim Hyung-pyo, head of management planning at Heungkuk Life, has been named as the new CEO of Heungkuk Life Insurance.

Kim Dae-hyun, the CEO-designate of Heungkuk Fire, is an insurance industry veteran with more than 30 years of experience in the non-life insurance sector. Kim Hyung-pyo, the CEO-designate of Heungkuk Life, is a financial expert who has served across planning, finance, and audit divisions within Heungkuk Life.

"Competition in the insurance industry is intensifying amid an uncertain business environment," a Taekwang Group official said. "We plan to focus on enhancing the competitiveness of our affiliates by placing experienced and specialized personnel in the right positions across each sector."
