Maserati Unveils MCPURA Super Sports Car in Korea

Italian luxury car brand Maserati has unveiled its new super sports car "MCPURA" for the first time in Korea and launched pre-orders for the model.
Maserati Korea recently held a media event at its Yongsan showroom in Seoul to showcase the new model, which embodies the brand's 111-year heritage and racing DNA.
MCPURA succeeds the brand's iconic MC20 while incorporating "Pura," Italian for "pure," to emphasize the brand's identity.
The exterior features a low, wide body proportion that creates a dynamic silhouette. According to global specifications, the vehicle measures 4,669mm in length, 1,965mm in width (excluding side mirrors), and 1,224mm in height, with a 2,700mm wheelbase providing stable driving dynamics.
The design focuses on maximizing aerodynamic efficiency. The front bumper, lower section, and side skirts feature glossy black finishes developed from racing experience to emphasize sportiness, while the rear bumper has been redesigned to optimize airflow.
The butterfly doors, a signature feature of Maserati supercars, offer not only practical convenience for passengers but also deliver an overwhelming presence and aesthetic value when opened. The convertible model "MCPURA Cielo" features the segment's only PDLC glass roof.
The driver-focused interior creates a modern yet luxurious atmosphere. Key contact points including seats, door panels, dashboard, and steering wheel are finished in premium Alcantara material, satisfying both visual luxury and functional grip.
The most notable feature is the steering wheel. A newly designed steering wheel based on MC20 GT2 operational experience has been applied for the first time, allowing drivers to maintain complete vehicle control without taking their eyes off the road while delivering track-level concentration.
MCPURA is powered by Maserati's V6 3.0L "Nettuno" engine. The engine's core feature includes a "pre-chamber" technology derived from F1, producing maximum output of 630 horsepower and peak torque of 74.4 kg.m, paired with an 8-speed DCT and rear-wheel drive.
Built on an ultra-lightweight carbon fiber monocoque chassis co-developed with Dallara, the vehicle accelerates from standstill to 100 km/h in just 2.9 seconds and reaches a top speed exceeding 320 km/h, clearly demonstrating its value as the brand's super sports icon.
Both MCPURA and MCPURA Cielo are produced at the historic Viale Ciro Menotti factory in Modena, Italy. The vehicles are built to order worldwide, allowing customers to own a personalized vehicle reflecting their preferences.
Domestic prices start at 338.8 million won for MCPURA and 377 million won for MCPURA Cielo. The purchase includes a 5-year warranty and 3-year maintenance benefits. Pre-orders are available through all eight official Maserati showrooms nationwide.
"MCPURA is a model newly born from the luxury values and racing DNA that Maserati has pursued for 111 years," said Takayuki Kimura, Managing Director of Maserati Korea, expressing confidence in MCPURA and anticipation for a new leap forward in the Korean market.
