President Yoon Suk-yeol's first trial verdict among his indicted cases will be delivered on January 16, the court announced Thursday.
The Seoul Central District Court has scheduled the first-instance ruling for Yoon's case involving obstruction of arrest by the Corruption Investigation Office for High-ranking Officials (CIO).
This will mark the first conclusion among the multiple cases in which the suspended president has been indicted.
