Im Young-woong Fans Surpass 100 Million Won in Donations Through Lunch Box Volunteer Work

Fans of singer Im Young-woong have spread warmth to neighbors in need through lunch box sharing volunteer work.
According to Im Young-woong's fan club "Hero Era" on Wednesday, the volunteer group "Hero Era Band" conducted lunch box sharing volunteer work for residents of a jjokbangchon (cramped single-room housing district) at the Catholic House of Love and Peace in Dongja-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, on Jan. 12.
Fans who participated in the volunteer work prepared ingredients worth 1.5 million won ($1,100), made lunch boxes themselves, and delivered them to residents, putting neighborly love into practice.
This activity marks the 79th volunteer event since the group first began volunteering in May 2020, with cumulative donations now surpassing 100 million won ($73,000). The Catholic House of Love and Peace presented a plaque of appreciation to "Hero Era Band" for their long-standing commitment to donations and volunteer work.
"Hero Era Band" conducts lunch box cooking and delivery volunteer work at the Catholic House of Love and Peace every second Thursday of each month. Through four years of consistent volunteering, the group has accumulated a total of 79 volunteer sessions at this facility alone.
"Although volunteering from early morning is not easy, we feel greater happiness than any reward when we can deliver warm love to someone," the fan club said. "We will continue to practice neighborly love and keep sharing."
