NMIXX Tops NME's Best K-Pop of 2025 List

NMIXX, a K-pop girl group under JYP Entertainment, ranked first and seventh on British music magazine NME's "25 Best K-Pop Songs of 2025."
In the list published on NME's official website on January 10, "SPINNIN ON IT" from NMIXX's first full-length album "Blue Valentine" took the top spot, while "High Horse" from their fourth mini-album "Fe3O4: FORWARD" ranked seventh. "SPINNIN ON IT" had previously charted at No. 43 on NME's "50 Best Songs of 2025" released on January 1, making its climb to the top of the K-pop category a remarkable achievement.
NME praised the group extensively: "NMIXX, who made bigger waves than anyone this year, peaked with 'Blue Valentine.' Among its tracks, 'SPINNIN ON IT' serves as the emotional cornerstone of the album, capturing the moment where NMIXX's signature MIXX POP genre meets sharp sensibility. The only team that can reflect the fierce whirlwind of love and complete this emotional surge with the year's best pop performance is NMIXX, who push the song's energy to the very end with their overwhelming vocal prowess. Even when they say 'love is exhausting,' we can't help but fall deeper for NMIXX."
Regarding "High Horse," NME noted: "NMIXX's direction of creating new music by mixing various genres is precisely realized in this track. 'High Horse' is a highly polished work where their musical capabilities shine most clearly."
NMIXX, which has established its presence as a "hexagonal girl group" through steadily developed musical identity, is expanding its reach through its debut world tour "EPISODE 1: ZERO FRONTIER." The group delivered solid performances at Incheon Inspire Arena on November 29 and 30, earning high audience satisfaction and making a spectacular opening.
Building on the momentum of the successful Incheon concerts, the tour extends to 11 cities across Europe and North America: Madrid on March 17, Amsterdam on March 20, Paris on March 22, Frankfurt on March 24, London on March 26, Toronto on March 29, Brooklyn on March 31, National Harbor on April 2, Irving on April 4, Oakland on April 7, and Los Angeles on April 9. Additional tour dates will be announced sequentially.
