Incheon Hosts 2025 Community Urban Garden Achievement Sharing Event

Incheon Metropolitan City will hold the "2025 Community Urban Garden Achievement Sharing Event" on January 16 at Songdo 2-dong Administrative Welfare Center to share the annual achievements of the citizen-participatory "Ieum Garden."
Now in its fifth year, the Ieum Garden project was first established on idle land in Songdo-dong in 2021. It has become an Incheon-style urban agriculture model that serves as a community-based public space where neighbors connect and relationships form, going beyond simple food cultivation.
This year, 334 citizens and 26 organizations participated. Cooperative activities planned by citizens and urban agriculture managers were held 55 times with a cumulative total of 1,717 participants, creating opportunities for community restoration. Through 14 events, a total of 872 kilograms of agricultural products were donated to the local community, sharing the joy of harvest with neighbors.
