Hana Financial Wraps Up Nationwide 'JOB Matching Festa' for Middle-Aged Job Seekers

Hana Financial Group (086790.KS) has completed its nationwide tour of the "Hana JOB Matching Festa," a job fair supporting reemployment for middle-aged workers, across five major cities this year.

The group announced Thursday that it concluded this year's program with the "5th Hana JOB Matching Festa 2025" held at Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) in Jung-gu, Seoul on Wednesday.

The Hana JOB Matching Festa is part of the group's middle-aged employment program "Hana Power On Second Life," a job fair that provides reemployment opportunities for job seekers while connecting regional companies with experienced talent. Since 2024, the event has been held 15 times cumulatively, achieving results including participation from 784 companies, 1,013 job listings, and 5,014 visitors.

This year, 281 regional companies and 2,480 visitors participated across five cities starting from Incheon, followed by Gwangju, Daegu, Daejeon, and Seoul. The Seoul fair, the final stop of the tour, recorded the highest attendance ever with 760 job seekers. A total of 59 companies from the Seoul and Gyeonggi region participated, conducting recruitment focused on positions in marketing, research, caregiving, and nursing care. Of these, 16 companies operated on-site interview booths to provide immediate employment opportunities.

The event offered practical support programs including resume and interview coaching, employment consulting, image consulting, and free ID photo services. A "Digital Job Experience Zone" featuring lectures on artificial intelligence (AI), entrepreneurship, and multiple income streams, along with hands-on content such as data labeling and one-person creator workshops, drew positive responses from participants.

Hana Financial's senior-focused brand "Hana The Next" consultation booth provided specialized counseling on retirement planning, asset management, inheritance and gift planning, and life care services, helping middle-aged participants prepare for both reemployment and retirement planning simultaneously. Hana Bank's financial consultation booth also offered customized financial advice to job seekers and participating companies.

"Through the nationwide tour, we reconfirmed the reemployment demand among middle-aged workers and the hiring needs of regional companies," a Hana Financial ESG Shared Growth Team official said. "We will continue to collaborate with local communities to help experienced professionals connect with new opportunities."

Meanwhile, Hana Financial also operates employment programs targeting young people and vulnerable employment groups. Representative programs include "Hana Social Venture University" for discovering and nurturing young entrepreneurs, support for people with disabilities and career-experienced women through social innovation company internship matching, and the "Hana ESG Double Impact Matching Fund" for ESG startups.
