Taeyoung E&C Appoints Lee Kang-seok as New President

Taeyoung Engineering & Construction announced Thursday that it has appointed Lee Kang-seok, head of the technical sales division, as its new president.

Lee graduated from Yonsei University and completed graduate studies at Hanyang University before joining Taeyoung E&C in 1996. He has since served as head of the civil engineering division and head of the technical sales division, playing a key role in strengthening competitiveness and expanding orders for major projects.

In the regular executive reshuffle announced the same day, Taeyoung E&C Executive Vice President Lim Tae-jong and Senior Vice President Jung Jin-hyung were promoted to head of the civil engineering division and head of the construction division, respectively. TY Holdings, the holding company of Taeyoung Group, also appointed Park Byung-il, head of the investigative reporting department at SBS news division, as the new head of media policy and chief of staff.

"Based on this personnel reshuffle, we will focus all our efforts on improving business performance and securing financial soundness to solidify the foundation for exiting the workout program," Taeyoung E&C said.
