Hyundai Motor Group Donates 35 Billion Won to Year-End Charity Campaign

Hyundai Motor Group, led by Executive Chairman Euisun Chung, has donated 35 billion won ($24 million) to the Community Chest of Korea as part of its year-end charity efforts.
The automaker held a donation ceremony for the "Hope 2026 Sharing Campaign" at the Community Chest of Korea headquarters in Jung-gu, Seoul, on Thursday. Sung Kim, President of Strategic Planning, and Kim Byung-jun, Chairman of the Community Chest of Korea, attended the event.
Hyundai Motor Group (005380.KS) has donated to the Community Chest of Korea annually since 2003. The cumulative total over 23 years now stands at 464 billion won.
Beyond monetary contributions, the group has partnered with the Community Chest of Korea on various social initiatives, including "Gift Car" to support youth sports programs, "I-Care" to assist abused children and prevent child abuse, and "H-Jump School" to nurture global talent and address educational inequality.
"We believe that fulfilling social responsibility through sharing and supporting neighbors in need is an important role for corporations," Kim said. "We will continue to take responsible steps toward a sustainable future."
