Youngsan University Partners with Taiwan's Cheng Shiu University on K-Beauty Education

Youngsan University has established a foundation for K-beauty education cooperation with a Taiwanese university.

The Department of Beauty Arts at Youngsan University announced Wednesday that it recently hosted three professors and 20 students from the Department of Skin Care, Cosmetics and Fashion at Cheng Shiu University of Science and Technology in Taiwan, operating a short-term K-beauty education program and signing an academic exchange agreement.

The Taiwanese delegation completed hands-on professional training in personal color analysis, makeup, and skin care. Participating professors and students highly praised the educational system and operational standards of Youngsan University's Department of Beauty Arts, expressing that they experienced firsthand the excellence of K-beauty education.

During the training period, the delegation also visited the Youngsan University Beauty Contest Exhibition and the Korea Invitational Artists Exhibition. The Taiwanese group was reportedly impressed by the high quality of student works and their artistic capabilities.

Both parties agreed to significantly expand exchanges following this training program and agreement. They plan to pursue cooperation in various areas including jointly hosting an international exhibition in Taiwan next year, student exchanges, graduate school admissions, and academic research.

"This is a meaningful achievement that confirms the potential for international expansion of K-beauty education," said Kim Jung-won, head of the Department of Beauty Arts. "We look forward to continuing exchanges and cooperation in various fields."
