“Golden” is the most popular song on YouTube in Korea this year

The song that received the most views on YouTube in Korea this year was “Golden (Golden),” which was inserted into the anime “K-POP Demon Hunters (Kedehan).” Choo Seong-hoon, a martial arts fighter, was selected as the most popular creator.
On the 3rd, YouTube announced this year's year-end financial results list, including the most popular topics, the most popular creators, the most popular songs, and the most popular shorts songs.
On the most popular song list based on the number of YouTube views in Korea, Kedehan's insert songs swept the top spot. The soundtracks of the three songs “Golden,” “Soda Pop (Soda Pop),” and “Your Idol (Your Idol)” were ranked 1st, 3rd, and 10th respectively. “Soda Pop” and “Golden” are also on the YouTube Shorts #1 to #2 most popular songs list.
In addition to Kedehan's theme song, “Drowning (2nd place)” by Woods, “Don't You Know (4th place)” by Joe Jazz, and “The Beginning Child (6th place)” by Mark Chuck also rose to the top.
Choo Seong-hoon, who presented comic everyday content with an honest and relaxed personality, took the first place as the most popular creator. Comedian Lee Su-ji, who reflected the times with her exquisite acting, came in 2nd place, and Chef Ahn Sung-jae (6th), who showed the sincerity of Michelin star chefs, and “Emotional Anxiety Kim Hamchi (7th place),” which depicts a realistic company life through artificial intelligence (AI) hamster characters, also attracted attention.
Along with Kedeheon, all three K-contents, including the dramas “I Was Deceived” and “The Squid Game,” were listed on the list of popular topics that received the most attention from YouTube users in Korea this year. In particular, Squid Game and Kedehan were found to have taken the list of popular topics in most of the countries surveyed.
