"ChatGPT for Kakao" is now available on the PC version of KakaoTalk.
Kakao said on the 15th that it had carried out its sixth regular KakaoTalk update, which includes the feature. ChatGPT for Kakao is a service that allows users to use ChatGPT directly within KakaoTalk chat rooms, and it launched on mobile last October. With PC support, users can now continue their ChatGPT experience from the mobile app seamlessly on PC. Without having to re-enter previous descriptions or repeat questions, users can use ChatGPT without interruption across both PC and mobile KakaoTalk.
The update also introduces a feature that regenerates photos exchanged in chat rooms using ChatGPT 2.0. Users can select an image in a chat room, tap "Create with AI" in the upper right corner, and apply their desired image template, such as colored pencil drawing or anime style.
The update also adds a message summary feature within chat rooms. To help users quickly catch up on missed messages, they can tap the "Conversation Summary" button in a chat room to organize and display the content of accumulated messages. The new features apply to KakaoTalk version v26.6.0 and later.
