AhnLab participated in a cybersecurity forum hosted by the Malaysian government, showcasing artificial intelligence (AI)-based integrated security technology optimized for public IT environments.
AhnLab said on the 13th that it took part in "NCSS 2026," held from the 7th to the 9th of this month at the Putrajaya International Convention Centre in Malaysia. The company is accelerating its global business, joining this event after "RSAC 2026" in the United States in March, "CYBERSEC 2026" in Taiwan in May, and "Interop Tokyo 2026" in Japan in June.
NCSS is co-hosted by Malaysia's National Cyber Security Agency (NACSA) and the National Security Council (NSC), featuring cooperation and policy discussions aimed at strengthening national cyber resilience. AhnLab operated a booth under the theme "AI Security Platform Encompassing IT and OT," moving to tap the local public market.
At the booth, AhnLab showcased its AI-based threat analysis platform "AhnLab XDR," its threat intelligence platform "AhnLab TIP," and its CPS integrated security platform "AhnLab CPS Plus." During the event, many officials from government agencies including NACSA, the military, and the police, as well as from automakers and energy companies, visited the AhnLab booth to discuss cooperation.
AhnLab XDR in particular drew visitors' interest with its ability to collect and analyze security data from various systems such as endpoints, networks, and the cloud to identify the context and risks of threats. In Malaysia, which is in the early stages of digital transformation, demand is emerging for platform-based integrated security that links and operates various security solutions rather than relying on individual security solutions alone.
Meanwhile, on the 7th, the first day of the event, Choi Jung-eui, head of AhnLab's Global Business Division, gave a presentation at a closed-door workshop on the theme "Understanding Cyber Threats in the Asia-Pacific Region from Korea's Perspective: Major Attack Cases, Trends, and Cyber Resilience Strategies." After the presentation, government and public officials, including those from NACSA, visited the AhnLab booth to inquire about further consultation and cooperation. "This year, we have been participating in global cybersecurity exhibitions in the United States, Japan, and Taiwan, promoting AhnLab's solutions and competitiveness," Choi said. "Based on the references we have built in Korea's public sector, we received positive evaluations from Malaysian government and public officials and confirmed the potential for cooperation."
