NC AI's voice generation artificial intelligence (AI) service "VARCO Voice" has been selected as a top AI use case at the "AI for Good Global Summit 2026," hosted by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), a UN agency.
NC AI said Wednesday that VARCO Voice was selected as a top use case in the event's "Innovate for Impact" category. The AI for Good Global Summit is an international AI event that discusses using AI to address global challenges and support the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The Innovate for Impact category identifies and showcases cases where AI technology is used to solve social problems.
VARCO Voice was recognized for improving accessibility to content creation based on multilingual voice generation and emotional expression technology. Lowering the barrier to entry for producing and using voice content among creators, small and medium-sized enterprises, and the public and education sectors was cited as an evaluation factor.
NC AI also introduced "My AAC," an augmentative and alternative communication app developed in collaboration with the NC Cultural Foundation. My AAC, which applies VARCO Voice technology, provides a personalized voice experience for users who have difficulty communicating.
In addition, eight AI models and services submitted by NC AI were listed in the official publication. The listed items are VARCO 3D, VARCO Sound, VARCO Voice, VARCO Translation, VARCO ArtFashion, VAKY, VAKY Agent, and DomainOps.
NC AI is developing its business around two main pillars: content AI and industrial AX. In the content sector, it is expanding use cases for multimodal generative AI centered on VARCO, while in the industrial sector, it supports corporate AI transformation centered on VAKY. Recently, it has also been expanding into the physical AI sector, which interacts with the physical environment.
