SKAI Worldwide, an artificial intelligence (AI) agent and database (DB) solutions company, has signed a strategic memorandum of understanding (MOU) with security and authentication specialist TSID to strengthen the authentication and security capabilities of AI and DB solutions, the company said Tuesday.
TSID holds dynamic authentication technology that does not rely on fixed authentication values. The technology reduces dependence on the fixed values found in existing authentication systems such as passwords, biometric data, and fixed keys, instead using real-time dynamic authentication (non-fixed value identification and verification) that changes each time. Because it verifies users with authentication values that change in real time depending on the situation and conditions, it makes account takeover or unauthorized access difficult, effectively eliminating at the source the risks of external exposure and reuse of account access privileges.
Under the agreement, the two companies will combine TSID's user authentication and security technology with "Ontovia," SKAI Worldwide's AI agent that incorporates the only domestic graph database patent technology. Through this, they will design a security framework that prevents account takeover, leakage of authentication information, and unauthorized access. The companies plan to supply an AI DB solution approaching a zero-trust environment—one that blocks security threats at the source from the data access stage—to public and private markets where high-trust authentication is essential, such as finance and defense.
Going forward, SKAI Worldwide will provide the test environment needed to develop security-enhanced AI agent and DB solutions and will be responsible for verifying completed solutions and managing quality. TSID plans to provide authentication and security technology to strengthen information protection and account security for AI agent and DB solutions, and will handle the analysis of security vulnerabilities and technical support needed for product integration.
